In this clip, Brad Bowden from Team Canada demonstrates how to handle the puck while skating forward. Note that Brad pushes the puck forward with his stick blade on the ice, ensuring that the puck is pushed far enough forward to allow for a pick to accelerate before pushing the puck again -- he is "catching up" to the puck. Make sure you have enough space available to move with the puck before utilizing this skill.
